You Can Get PlayStation Plus For As Little As $1 This Weekend

Following the reveal of both the PlayStation Plus Essential titles and the first batch of PlayStation Plus Extra games for March, PlayStation has dropped a tasty deal for anyone brand-new to any of the Plus tiers to jump in for the first time.

Starting now and running through the weekend, new members can sign up to the Essential tier for just $1 for the first month, with the Extra and Deluxe tiers getting their own discounts as well. The prices are as follows:

Those already on an Essential subscription can also save 35% on an upgrade to Extra or Deluxe between now and March 10th.

Sony revealed a handful of games that would be coming to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue including new release Tchia and big hitters such as Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection and Ghostwire Tokyo.

WHAT ARE THE PLAYSTATION PLUS TIERS?

In case you need a refresher, the PlayStation Plus tiers are explained below:

  • PlayStation Plus Essential: Get access to online play as well as two free PS4 games and one free PS5 games every month as well as exclusive discounts
