\PlayStation has announced the slate of titles being added to the PlayStation Plus Extra/Deluxe game catalogue on April 18th.
There are some pretty good wins this time around with the likes of Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Doom Eternal and the highly underrated Paradise Killer. There’s a whole lot of Bethesda stuff across the board as well. Interestingly, Sackboy: A Big Adventure has made the list posted on the PlayStation Blog despite also being included in this month’s Essential games, so it seems like that one’s sticking around longer for those on the higher tier.
No PS1/PSP retro inclusions this month either, with Deluxe members getting the addition of the PS4 versions of Doom I-III, Doom 64 and Dishonored as the “classic” titles.
Lastly, some titles have been announced as being taken off the service on May 15, which includes a first-party title in the form of Marvel’s Spider-Man, which is somewhat surprising. Take a look at the list of additions and removals below:
From the PlayStation Blog:
“As part of our normal content refresh, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Resident Evil, and NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 will be among some of the titles leaving the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue in May. Members with Game Catalogue benefits can still play by May 15. You can always check the ‘Last chance to play section’ on the PlayStation Plus -> Collections page on the PS5 console, or PlayStation Plus -> Games -> Games Catalogue on the PS4 console for titles you might want to play before they leave the service.”
