Update #2: Aussie Final Fantasy fans might be in for some disappointment, as it doesn’t look as though the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Collector’s Edition will be making it to our shores.
EB Games has begun responding to queries around local stock of the CE, telling X users, “The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Collector’s Edition is not confirmed for an Australian release so I’m afraid we won’t be receiving stock for this version.”
Though EB’s wording above implies that there’s no Aussie release confirmed, there’s always a tiny sliver of hope that old mates at JB will somehow get the Collector’s Edition as a surprise – it wouldn’t be the first time they’ve snagged a Final Fantasy/Square Enix CE exclusively.
Two of the three versions of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth are still available to pre-order in Australia, including the $169 Deluxe Edition:

Original Story: On top of dropping a huge new trailer and February 29th release date for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Square Enix also revealed the various editions of the game headed fans’ way, including a ridiculous Collector’s Edition featuring a very sick 48cm Sephiroth Static Arts statue.
You can pre-order Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on the PlayStation Store right now in the following versions:
