A PlayStation 30th Anniversary Event Has Been Revealed With New Announcements And Awesome Collectables

PlayStation has announced a 30th anniversary celebration event that will take place throughout the next few months. This is just a few of the ways that PlayStation plans to celebrate with the post assuring us that we should be on the “lookout for more announcements in the near future”.

My First GT will be a brand new free version of Gran Turismo designed to help people get into Gran Turismo. It will be available on PS5 and PS4.

A bunch of great digital soundtracks are coming to streaming services including God Of War, God Of War II, God Of War: Ghost of Sparta, Twisted Metal, Starhawk and Unit 13. These will drop from October through January.

A new product line called ‘Shapes of Play’ will drop including a board game, a magnetic set of blocks and a line of stress balls. It’s unclear if these will be coming to Australia but they include the below:

• Shapes of Play: Battle is a board game where you can challenge a friend to line up four different shapes of the same color on the board to win.
• Shapes of Play: Create is a set of magnetic blocks that you can position in any direction to create fun shapes.
• Shapes of Play: Recharge lets you experience a new way to recharge between games, especially after that tough boss battle.
