It’s set to be a big week for PlayStation fans next week with both the standard PS5 Pro as well as five PlayStation 30th anniversary products going up for pre-order including a custom PS5 Pro bundle (12,300 units available globally), a PS5 Slim Digital, a PlayStation Portal and DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers all in the theme of the PS1.
If PS5 Pro pre-orders weren’t going to be chaotic enough (going off the PS5 Disc drive already selling out), then the five limited edition items live at the same is sure to be a bit of a headache, so here’s all the info you know. Obviously, we’ll keep you posted as we know more closer to Thursday.
The PS5 Pro will launch on November 7th, 2024, less than two months away.
The PS5 Pro will cost $1,199 AUD in Australia and release on November 7th with pre-orders beginning on September 26th. This doesn’t include a disc drive, so we’ve done the price for both together as well (it can be purchased for $159 separately).
Sony has announced that the pre-orders for the PS5 Pro will be available on September 26th at 10:00am AEST at Aussie retailers.

All 5 of the PlayStation 30th Anniversary products will release a little bit later on November 21st.
In Australia, these will be available for pre-order at the same time as the standard PS5 Pro, which is Thursday, September 26th at 10:00am AEST, which is sure to be chaotic with all of the items going on sale at the same time.
