It was announced earlier this year, but PlayStation has now confirmed that in celebration of its 30th anniversary, it is launching My First Gran Turismo, a free-to-play version of Gran Turismo 7 on Friday.
The game will have full PlayStation VR2 support, 18 unique cars each with their own personality, and some iconic tracks including Kyoto Driving Park, Deep Forest Raceway and Trial Mountain Circuit.
It will include a range of challenges with three race events, three time trials, three Music Rally Stages as well as a full suite of License Tests, so it should provide the perfect intro to Gran Turismo without being too overwhelming.
The experience has been designed to be intuitive, meaning that anyone can jump in and get a taste for what Gran Turismo is all about without being overhwelming.
