An Onimusha 2 Remaster Is Finally On The Way

6 years after the first game got remastered, Capcom has finally announced that Onimush 2: Samurai’s Destiny is finally getting a remaster.

Not a heap of information was revealed for the game outside of the fact that it’s coming to PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Steam.

A bunch of new information was also revealed for the new upcoming Onimusha: Way of the Sword:

• A cast of compelling characters, including a new protagonist and enemies you’ll face off against.
• A dark fantasy set in Edo period Kyoto, brimming with historical, real-life locations.
• The ultimate sword-fighting action delivering the visceral satisfaction of slicing through enemies.

This is set to launch in 2026, so no doubt we’ll hear a bunch more information in the lead-up to launch.
