During the live multiplayer reveal stream in Los Angeles, EA announced that Battlefield 6 will officially launch on October 10, 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Fans eager to jump in early will get their chance when the Open Beta kicks off this August. There will be two modes including the Standard Edition as well as the Phantom Edition but we’re still awaiting Australian pricing.

The game is set in 2027 and takes place all across the world with multiplayer maps set in Egypt, Gibraltar and the streets of New York, with more content to be added post launch. The game sees the return of the iconic class system with class-specific gadgets, signature weapons and dedicated training, a new single-player campaign and fan fan favourite modes such as including Conquest, Breakthrough, and Rush in addition to TDM, Squad Deathmatch and King of the Hill.
