August’s PlayStation Plus Extra/Deluxe Games Have Been Revealed With A Few Bangers

PlayStation has announced August’s PlayStation Plus Extra/Deluxe games and in celebration of PlayStation Plus’ 15th anniversary, it’s one of the biggest months yet.

The two big hitters on the Extra side are Mortal Kombat 1 and Marvel’s Spider-Man and for those Deluxe subscribers, Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 will be available for you to play as well.

As with last month, the Australian dates for each of these games are different to what is listed on the PlayStation Blog, with the games releasing in a scattered manner rather than all at once. This also means that some games spill into September which again leads us to believe that PlayStation wants a steady stream of games between the drops each month.

AUGUST 2025 PLAYSTATION PLUS EXTRA GAMES

Games will drop between today and each Tuesday until the middle of September, when it’s presumed that the next batch will drop for September.

• Unicorn Overlord (PS5/PS4) – August 19th
• Earth Defense Force 6 (PS5/PS4) – August 26th
• Coral Island (PS5) – August 26th
• Atelier Ryza 3 Alchemist of the End and the Secret Key (PS5/PS4) – September 9th
• Indika – September 9th
• Harold Halibut – September 9th
