During San Diego Comic Con this week, Cory Barlog has confirmed that fans can expect another God of War game to follow the upcoming God of War: Laufey, and that it’ll once again star Kratos while connecting directly to Laufey’s story.
The news came during a panel featuring Barlog alongside Laufey’s cast, including Deborah Ann Woll, Christopher Judge, and Jack Quaid.
It was only a couple of months ago that we first learned of God of War: Laufey, which follows Faye as she’s forced to navigate the afterlife of the Gods, The Everywhen, parallel to the events of 2018’s God of War.
In addition to God of War: Laufey, which has had its release window narrowed only to next year after confirmation it would release on disc, Santa Monica Studios is hard at work recreating the original God of War trilogy, though we’re not expecting that anytime soon.
