The LEGO PS1 has been rumoured for most of this year now, but there’s apparently more concrete info about the set.
According to BrickTap, the set will release on October 1st and include 1,911 pieces consisting of at least the console and one controller and likely a memory card too. It will cost $159.99 USD (~$230 AUD) when it launches.
In even more interesting news, it’s said that there will be a limited edition Astro Bot set that releases alongside the PS1 console and this will be available as a gift with purchased when purchasing from the LEGO store. These are notoriously hard to get as you can only get them when you purchase a select item from a select retailer, and often resell for a lot more as they can’t be purchased separately.
With an October 1st release date, we’d expect the LEGO PS1 to be announced in the coming weeks before it launches, so we’ll let you know once we have more info on that.
