ORIGINAL STORY: PlayStation has revealed that the PlayStation Pulse Elevate speakers will launch on November 12th for $219.99 USD (~$310 AUD). We still don’t have an exact Australian price yet, but will let you know as soon as we do.
The Pulse Elevate speakers offer desktop quality audio for PS5, PC, Mac or the PlayStation Portal with Tempest 3D AudioTech. They have a built-in mic with AI enhanced noise rejection, and they’re powered by PlayStation Link for low-latency or Bluetooth as well.
The big difference here is that these speakers are wireless, so you can take them off the charging docks and use them around the house, whether it be to use your PlayStation Portal, or maybe you just want to put them in a position at your living room that doesn’t have access to power.
The EQ in them will be able to be controlled through the PS5 or PC, and there’s volume controls on the actual speakers themselves too.
