Xbox has today announced the Xbox Hall of Fame contest. What this means for Aussies is that starting on October 1st, you’ve got to sign in at this page in order to register your Xbox Live account. You’ve then got until October 19th to put your best foot forward in one of the below categories.
- Gamerscore Legend: Most Gamerscore earned in the lifetime of Xbox One
- Achievement Conqueror: Most achievements earned in the lifetime of Xbox One
- Game Pass Ruler: Most Xbox Game Pass titles played in the lifetime of Xbox One
- Achievement Defeater: Most achievements earned during the campaign period.
- Gamerscore Champion: Most Gamerscore earned during the campaign period.
- Sea of Thieves – Legendary Captain’s Challenge: Earn as much Emissary Value as you can in Athena’s Fortune Emissary voyages.
- State of Decay 2: Clear the ‘Plague Hearts’ map as quickly as you can.
- Forza Horizon 4: Get the fastest lap on the Xbox Hall Of Fame Circuit.
For each of these categories, Xbox will give away an Xbox Hall of Fame Prize Pack including the below:
- An Xbox Series X console
- An Xbox Hall of Fame trophy
- A 12-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate
- An Xbox Hall of Fame branded hoodie sweatshirt.
Looking at the categories, you’re probably not going to be able to achieve the largest gamerscore in less than a month, but putting your hat in the ring for playing the most Xbox Game Pass games (you’re probably going to have to play everything) or earning the largest gamerscore during the campaign period are definitely doable. There’s a number of game-related categories as well, so if any of these take your fancy, obviously give those a go.
The Xbox Series X releases on November 10th. It’s definitely going to be hard to find one at launch, so why not try your hand at this competition.
