Microsoft has just dropped the new Xbox app on iOS and Android. You can grab it on iPhone here and Android here.
I have been using the app for the last few weeks. As I wrote in my preview, the new app lets you easily share game captures, stream your Xbox to your iPhone, chat with friends, download games remotely and set your new Xbox console up whilst you’re updating it.
The app is a really great experience that ties in nicely to the entire Xbox ecosystem. Download it and give it a play, and definitely ensure that you’ve got it install before you bring that shiny new Xbox Series X home.
