Nintendo held their first Nintendo Direct since September 2019 today and it didn’t disapoint. We’re getting a new Mario Golf game, a new Splatoon and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword on Switch.
It apparently features more intuitive motion controls, but you can play it with button-only controls now too. Sword movements can be manipulated with the control stick. It hits July 16th.
They’re styled after the Master Shield and Master Sword. They’re out on the same day as Skyward Sword HD.
It features motion controls (optionally) as well as cool new modes that put a twist on the proceedings like Speed Golf and a proper Story Mode. It hits June 25th.
They’re the protagonists from Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Cool I guess.
It’s coming in the middle of the year.
The game operates on 22-minute loops and is heading to Switch in the middle of the year.
The games are deep cuts from Nintendo’s history, and are murder-mystery thrillers. It releases May 14th.
