Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest Kickoff Live kicked things off for E3 2021 and it didn’t disappoint. We got to see a new Borderlands spin-off, an expanded edition of Death Stranding and of course the all-mighty Elden Ring.

TINY TINA’S WONDERLANDS TAKES THE BORDERLANDS EXPERIENCE IN A NEW DIRECTION
Andy Samberg, Wanda Sykes, and Will Arnett are joining Ashly Burch’s Tiny Tina in a high-fantasy take on a looter shooter with spell casting and everything. It’s out in early 2022.
THE SHOW CLOSED OUT WITH HEAPS OF JUICY NEW ELDEN RING FOOTAGE AND A RELEASE DATE
The game looks to feature the same striking art direction that the From Software are known for and some intense and meaty combat. It’s due for release on January 21st 2022 for both current and next-gen consoles.
HIDEO KOJIMA MADE A SURPRISE APPEARANCE TO REVEAL DEATH STRANDING DIRECTOR’S CUT
(EVEN THOUGH I’M PRETTY SURE HE DIRECTED THE ORIGINAL GAME TOO)
The trailer sees Norman Reedus’ Sam Porter mimicking Solid Snake in a kooky way. The game is “coming soon” but not much more was shown as the full reveal is just “weeks away”.

It’s an open-world indie game that sees a young girl attempting her rite of passage. The game hits PC and Xbox Series S|X on September 23rd.
A KOREAN MMORPG LOST ARK IS COMING TO THE WEST IN 2021
It’s hitting PC later this year and while it’s not my jam I’m sure it’s someones.
METAL SLUG IS GETTING THE RTS TREATMENT IN METAL SLUG TACTICS
It merges the strategy gameplay elements of games like Fire Emblem and Advance Wars with the world of Metal Slug. What an iconic fit honestly.
WE GOT A LOOK AT SEASON 4 OF CALL OF DUTY: WARZONE

ESCAPE FROM TARKOV IS GETTING A NEW MAP
Somebody is happy somewhere and I’m happy for them. The new map takes things to a new urban setting called Concordia.
TWO POINT CAMPUS IS THE NEXT GAME FROM THE TWO POINT HOSPITAL TEAM
It looks to keep the same art style as Two Point Hospital, as well as the same kooky sense of humour. It’s coming to every major platform sometime in 2022.
SMITE HAS BEEN AROUND FOR NINE YEARS AND NOW STRANGER THINGS IS THERE TOO
In the trailer we see Eleven and Hopper fighting the Demogorgon and Mind Flayer. It arrives with the battle pass in July.
KOCH MEDIA REVEALED THEIR NEW PUBLISHING IMPRINT

THE ANACRUSIS WAS REVEALED AND IT’S LOOKING VERY GROOVY
What if Left 4 Dead took place at a disco? That’s what The Anacrusis looks like. It takes place aboard a spaceship in the 70s and features co-op.
THE FAST & THE FURIOUS IS COMING TO ROCKET LEAGUE AGAIN
It’s a three-car pack and it hits in June. My engines are revved, that’s for sure.
A BRAND NEW DEVELOPER REVEALED THEIR NEW VAMPIRE MULTIPLAYER GAME
It’s set in the Vampire: The Masquerade world and features a mix of supernatural powers and conventional weaponry. It’s coming in 2021 and called Vampire: The Masquerade Blood Hunt.
WE GOT A PROPER LOOK AT THE NEXT DARK PICTURES GAME AND RELEASE DATE
The game stars Ashley Tisdale as a CIA Officer stranded with her squad in an ancient temple underneath Iraq. I enjoyed the game when I got to have a look at it last month. It’s coming October 22nd 2021 and there’s even a cool collector’s edition too.
TALES OF ARISE GOT YET ANOTHER TRAILER AND IT’S LOOKING MIGHTY FINE
The Tales series has never looked so hot. It’s coming on September 10th 2021.

It’s called Planet of Lana: An Off-Earth Odyssey and it’s releasing in 2022 for PC and Xbox.

Bastion and Sombra look better, that’s for sure. The game remains without a release date.
MONSTER HUNTER STORIES 2 GOT A NEW AND MELODRAMATIC STORY TRAILER
There’s some dramatic piano, hokey accents, and lots of shiny crystals. The game launches for the Switch in a few months on July 9th.
ENDLESS DUNGEON STILL EXISTS AND THERE WAS SOME MORE GAMEPLAY REVEALED FOR IT
It’s not my jam but to quote Ewan at 5:21am “this game looks pretty good” and that’s enough of an endorsement for me. It’s a rogue-lite tactical action game.
GIANCARLO ESPOSITO DROPPED IN TO CHAT FAR CRY 6……KIND OF
There was no new gameplay shown, but Giancarlo spoke about his character in the game and settled the debate on which of his characters would win in a fight once and for all.
FALL GUYS IS GETTING A NIER AUTOMATA COSTUME
It’s none other than 2B and it’s absolutely adorable. She hits the game on June 18th, so next week! Hot.
A NEW STUDIO HAS FORMED HEADED BY FORMER CALL OF DUTY DEVELOPERS
They’re called Deviation Games and they’re working on a brand new IP. Groundbreaking, if you will. Their words, not mine. They’re partnering with PlayStation for their first project.
BACK 4 BLOOD IS GETTING THE BETA TREATMENT AND SOME MORE TEASING FOOTAGE
It’s looking very Left 4 Dead, as you’d expect, but the enemy variety and THAT BOSS looks even cooler. The beta begins in the first week of August.
TUNIC IS AND CONTINUES TO BE LIFE WITH A DEMO COMING TOO
You play as a cute little fox in this Zelda-esque adventure. There will be a demo releasing next week for us all to try soon.
TRIBES OF MIDGARD WAS REVEALED AND LOOKS TO BE A SOLID LITTLE RPG
The game is an action-adventure title heavily drawing from Norse mythology. It hits on July 27th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.
BRUCE CAMPBELL HIMSELF SHOWED OFF SOME NEW FOOTAGE OF THE EVIL DEAD GAME
It’s more or less what you’d expect – super gorey and super tongue in cheek. You’ll be able to play as heroes from the series history.
