This morning’s State of Play was one of the most solid showings I think we’ve ever had, with a nice breadth of announcements both new and old. Well paced and filled with something for everyone, here’s everything that PlayStation announced at their June 2022 State of Play.
The game looks to be releasing for next-gen only and will feature PSVR2 content too. The game is releasing on the 24th March 2023.
The footage looks like what you’d expect and features many of the same features as those in Resident Evil 4 VR, including dual-wielding.
It looks as violent and as gory as you’d expect and is releasing this year. Could that mean PlayStation VR2 is still coming this year? We can only hope.
It truly is the game that keeps on giving, isn’t it?
It’s one of the first exclusives for PlayStation VR2 and features
The update brings better visual fidelity in performance mode, transmog options for your equipment, a new game plus mode and an ultra hard difficulty.
It’s looking extra crispy. It releases with all downloadable content in August 2022. Miles Morales is also coming to PC later this year.
I know everyone is obsessed with the cat but it’s the music that does it for me. It’s releasing on July 19th, so you won’t have to wait long at all. It’s even coming to PlayStation Plus!

It’s releasing on August 16th and features a distinct art direction and a cute eighties vibe I can get behind.
It’s coming to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 and I’m sure it’s someone’s vibe but it’s not for me sorry.
We got a look at a Yakuza-esque single-player mode (or something) as well as a newcomer named Jamie and, of course, Chun-Li. There’s even a new dynamic commentator system too. It’s coming in 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Sorry, Xbox One players.
The adorable little fox makes the jump from Xbox to PlayStation in September. I loved this game so much when I played it earlier this year, so be sure to try it honestly.
I’m intrigued by this game’s unique premise – you play as a young woman who must collect memories before a cataclysmic event will wash everything away. It’s coming later this year.
The combat looks to mix elements from both Final Fantasy XV and Final Fantasy VII Remake and looks to be going for a more medieval feel than previous games. It’s not coming this year as initially rumoured though, we’re more or less a full year away from release as it’s coming in the Australian winter.
