Every New Razer Product Announced At Razercon 2024

Loads of new products!

Razercon was back for another year this year, and this time, it was all about new innovative products with haptics featuring in a big way in several new products including the new Razer Freyja gaming chair topper as well as the Kraken V4 Pro.

RAZER FREYJA HAPTIC GAMING CUSHION

Building on the haptics gaming chair that Razer showed off as a prototype earlier this year, Freyja is designed to go over the top of your chair and allows you to feel multi-directional haptics through six advanced haptics motors which are programmed to follow the direction of whatever is happening on screen, so for Hogwarts Legacy, it totally changes based on the direction of the spell for instance.

Developers will be able to release enhanced haptics with games such as Hogwarts Legacy, Final Fantasy 16, Snowrunner and Silent Hill 2 being a few of the already announced games.

I got to go hands-on with Freyja a few weeks ago, and it really adds to the immersion. It takes a little while to get used ot initially, but as you sort’ve forget that you’re sitting on a vibrating vibrating cushion, you really settle in and feel immersed in your game. Stay tuned for the full review.

Razer Freyja releases in Australia today and it’s available to order on Razer’s website for $549.95 AUD.

RAZER KRAKEN V4 PRO WIRELESS HEADSET

Building on the Kraken V4 and Kraken V4 X, the Kraken V4 Pro features built-in Sensa HD Haptics technology with games such as Final Fantasy 16, Hogwarts Legacy, Stalker 2 and Silent Hill 2 all set to take advantage.

Much like other high-end headsets that have been released by other manufacturers, the Kraken V4 Pro will include an OLED Control hub that will allow you to tweak audio sources and settings on the fly.

It will allow connectivity over four options: HyperSpeed wireless, Bluetooth, USB and 3.5mm allowing you to mix and toggle between PC and PlayStation without interruption.

RAZER LAPTOP COOLING PAD

The Razer Laptop Cooling Pad is an intelligent cooling solution for 14-inch to 18-inch laptops. It features smart fan control, an airtight pressure chamber and three magnetic frames which will allow it to support a wide variety of laptop. It has a high-velocity 140mm fan that circulates cool air that is trapped within the airtight seals.

The stand uses smart cooling technology to automatically adjust the span feed based on temperatures of key components to allow for an optimal noise performance without having to tweak things too closely.
