One of the first weapons you’ll find in Resident Evil 3 is the Shotgun, which is locked up inside the Subway Offices. Anybody who plays the demo probably knows just how to get it from the locked weapon case, but things are a little different in the full game.
HOW TO UNLOCK THE WEAPONS CAGE TO GET THE SHOTGUN
First off, you need to find the Bolt Cutters, which are located in a different location compared to where they were found in the demo. You’ll be able to find them in the Garage just before you meet Murphy Seeker and just after putting out the fire with the hose as you do in the demo.
Once you’ve got the Bolt Cutters, all you have to do is head back to the Shotgun’s location and use them on the weapons cage to unlock it. Pretty easy, if we do say so ourselves!
If you do happen to miss the shotgun – don’t fret! The game will place another one for you on a chair in the save room in the Dilapidated Shelter later in the story.
