Batman: Arkham Origins Cold, Cold Heart DLC Not Coming To Wii U

Warner Bros. announced Cold, Cold Heart, the first story expansion for Batman: Arkham Origins. The DLC will launch on April 22 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. The DLC will not be made available for Wii U, due to lack of the demand on that platform.

The Cold, Cold Heart expansion will have players exploring the origin story of Mr. Freeze, where they will learn about how he became one of Batman’s fiercest foes. The DLC is included with the Batman: Arkham Origins season pass or can be purchased separately for $15

The expansion will take place in many key locations of Gotham City, and will enable players to wear the extreme Environment Batsuit, plus the ability to use Thermal Gloves and Thermocharged Batarangs. The expansion will last for “several hours” of gameplay.

All I have to say is, poor Wii U, again being left out of all the fun.

  • This is because Warner Bros stated earlier this month or late jan, that the cost of making the DLC for the Wii U and the small market of people buying makes it unprofitable. Also, the DLC is $14.95 here not $10

    • Which is exactly what makes this so sad. The Wii U is in a perpetual hole. There's no demand, and because there's no demand, there's no support, and because there's no support, there's no demand. You know the deal, and it's depressing.
