Mojang have announced via the Playstation Blog that Minecraft will finally get a physical release on PS3 next month. It’ll release on 14th of May across off all of Europe and we’d assume that this includes Australia as well. It’ll come with everything that you’d expect from a physical release as well as everything that came in update 14.
Mojang also announced that the game had seen 1.5million downloads since Minecraft released on the Playstation store last year. The game has been near the top of the charts since it realised physically on the Xbox 360 last year.
They also announced that they’re hard at work on the PS4 and Vita versions of Minecraft and will hopefully have an update soon.
