Ratchet and Clank has broken another franchise record. After the latest entry became the highest-selling release in the franchise in both the UK and Australia, the NPD have just confirmed that it was also the highest-selling game in the franchise in the USA.
This is a stunning effort considering the series has had 15 iterations and also had a really strong pull on the digital storefront.
“Ratchet & Clank had the best launch of any game in the Ratchet & Clank franchise when adjusting for the number of days sold in the data month, with sales recapturing success not seen for the franchise since the height of the PlayStation 2 era,” said Callahan.
