Acquiring the download is simple, just visit the online store of your chosen console, search “Titanfall 2”, select “Titanfall 2 Multiplayer Tech Test” and click download. The file size for the PlayStation 4 is approximately 11.7 GB while the file size for the Xbox One is approximately 17.47 GB.
The Tech Test, which allows players to go hands-on with two Titans, all-new Pilot abilities like the grappling hook, and more, will take place on two weekends. The first stretching from August 18th-21st, the second from August 26th-28th. Unfortunately, there will not be a Titanfall 2 Multiplayer Tech Test available for PC users due to the developers still “tweaking” the rendering, hardware compatibility and various other facets that simply made it too difficult to produce a test on this platform. Vince Zampella, CEO of Respawn Entertainment encourages PC players to rest assured, however, as he is confident in the developer’s ability to deliver a great PC experience for launch (read more here).
Titanfall 2 will be available October 28, 2016, on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in physical and digital standard and special editions.
