UPDATE 3 (12/12/16): Target is now sold out of the NES Classic Mini after having many issues with their online queueing system. READ MORE ABOUT IT HERE.
UPDATE 2: After their website crashed, EB Games has confirmed that they’ll be stocking more NES Classic Minis at 12pm on Tuesday, November 15th. DETAILS HERE.
UPDATE: Nintendo has confirmed that a second shipment will be hitting Australia in December. MORE DETAILS HERE. The first shipment of NES Classic Mini is pretty much sold out Australia wide.
Nintendo’s NES Classic Mini that had everybody feeling nostalgic some months ago when it was announced will finally release in Australia this Thursday for $99. The NES Classic Mini will come pre-loaded with 30 Nintendo games including Mario 1, 2 and 3 and The Legend of Zelda among many other beloved NES games.
I hate to be the one to break it to you, but it’s going to be incredibly tough to get your hands on one. Nintendo has confirmed that it’s almost certain that there will only be one shipment. EB Games and JB Hi-Fi have both already sold out on pre-orders online and won’t have any walk-in unit available come Thursday morning.
Thankfully, Target and Big W are both advertising the product in their upcoming catalogues and look like they’ll have stock available on Thursday morning. Target are even advertising extra controllers (it’s pretty much a necessity for multiplayer goodness).
The usual Australian online retailers look to be sold out as well with OzGameShop, The Gamesmen and Dungeon Crawl all no longer listing the item.

Wow Nintendo really manage to screw things up. Everyone stopped playing Pokemon because they couldn't support the user demand and now they can't fulfil orders for their classic NES release.
