For a second consecutive year, The Technology + Gadget Expo is coming to Melbourne’s Convention and Exhibition Centre later this month. Over two days (August 19th and 20th) you’ll be able to attend the expo and go hands-on with some awesome tech related goodness. There’s still tickets available and they’ll set you back just $23 (adult) or $9 (child) for a one day pass.
The Main Stage will host a series of tech related talks and panels including a chat with the Director of Prototyping for Sphero (AKA the legends behind the BB-8 Sphere).
The Stem Stage will be providing tech demonstrations with some epic giveaways. There will also be 2 Large Test Tracks spanning 700+ square metres. You’ll be able to go hands-on with the latest and quirkiest electric bikes, segways, electric scooters and skateboards.
There will be 2 Drone Areas where you can watch professional pilots race the latest drones within a netted area. There will also be a hand controller selfie drone. For those that like coding, the Robotics & Coding area will house some coding workshops.
For gamers, there’s a VR and AR Zone with a variety of experiences and driving simulators as well as some upcoming products in the gaming space.
Here’s some highlights from last year’s event.
