According to Telltale, highlights of the final season include a brand new “unscripted” combat system, over the shoulder “360-degree orbit cam” and an updated art-style that is intended to reflect the art-style of the original comic series more accurately. The developers had this to say about the upcoming adventure:
Clementine, now a fierce and capable survivor, has reached the final chapter in her journey. After years on the road facing threats both living and dead, a secluded school might finally be her chance for a home. But protecting it will mean sacrifice. Clem must build a life and become a leader while still watching over AJ, an orphaned boy and the closest thing to family she has left. In this gripping and emotional final season, you will define your relationships, fight the undead, and determine how Clementine’s story ends.
The final season will be comprised of four episodes, on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC with a Switch version of the game expected to release sometime later this year. You can pre-order the complete collection for AUD$36.05 on the Xbox One and for $35.95 on the PlayStation 4, including 6 themed provide avatars for your PSN account.
