If Nickelodeon Kart Racers or Garfield weren’t good enough Mario Kart clones for you, a brand new Mario Kart type racer called Warped Kart Racers has been announced for Apple Arcade. It features characters from Family Guy, American Dad, King of the Hill and Solar Opposites. The game is set to launch in May on iPhones/iPads, but no doubt with a license this big, we’ll see it on other platforms eventually.
I must admit, going off the trailer, it looks to be quite a bit of fun. The art style is nice and it features five characters from each of the mentioned franchises, so obviously there’s quite a bit of star power there. There will be 16 maps, items to use as well as bunch of customisation. There will also be 8 player online multiplayer.
