Pin this one up under ‘heavily unsubstantiated rumour’, but if a conversation during Windows Central’s latest Xbox Chaturdays podcast is any indication we may not have seen the last of Crash Bandicoot with 2020’s Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time.
According to VGC one podcast guest, Rand al Thor, theorised that a reveal could be coming to this year’s Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, which was met with a response from journalist Jez Corden that implied he’d hit the nail on the head. Corden reportedly asked his guest where he’d got the info, before saying “I wasn’t supposed to leak that.”
Toys For Bob famously shifted their operations over to a support role for Call of Duty Warzone last year, but the flames of hope for the studio to also be hard at work on another Crash game continue to be stoked by hearsay and job listings like the below:
