Tony Hawk Is Headed To Brisbane For An Immersive THPS 25th Anniversary Show

Skate or die (in Brisbane).

Anyone who grew up eating concrete and playing H.O.R.S.E. with their friends in the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games just got a very good reason to buy flights to Brisbane early next year, with the living legend himself headed Down Under for an extra-special event featuring live skating demos from some major talent along with live music including artists featured on the THPS soundtracks.

THPS25 is taking place on January 27th next year at the Fortitude Music Hall in QLD, and promises to be a sick time for noughties kids, who’ll get to witness the likes of Hawk himself as well as other Birdhouse crew members and THPS-featured skaters like Lizzie Armanto, Elliot Sloan and more on an 11ft+ vert ramp installed in the centre of the music hall. Attendees will also be able to play the original games on a 5 metre video wall while Tony and the crew skate, along with plenty of other console stations set up to play the iconic games of the series.

Following that, attendees will be treated to a live gig from original artists like Bodyjar, DZ Deathrays and Alex Lahey along with soundtrack performances from the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater cover band, Birdman, playing iconic bangers from the likes of Rage Against the Machine and Goldfinger.

You can find out more about the line-up and schedule of activities for THPS25, as well as grab tickets when they go on sale on Wednesday, November 1st at 10AM AEDT, right here. VIP tickets will also be available that offer a meet and greet with Tony Hawk and the Birdhouse skaters prior to the show, a signed THPS25 deck from Hawk and the crew, a photo op and the opportunity to play the game on the video wall during the event.
