One of the coolest surprises during today’s Summer Game Fest showcase was the reveal that not only is Alan Wake 2’s first DLC, titled Night Springs and starring a trio of incredible playable characters, releasing tomorrow, but two physical editions of the game will be going up for pre-order and releasing later this year.
Fans have been crying out for a physical launch of the game since it released last year, and now it’s finally happening. Even more exciting is there’s not just a physical “Deluxe” version of the game but a flashy Collector’s Edition to pick up, though it’s going to be a pretty pricey one for Aussie fans to get their hands on.
So far it looks like these will be limited to the console versions of the game, and given we don’t know when the second expansion, titled The Lake House, is launching it’s hard to say whether the DLC will be on-disc.

The Physical Deluxe Edition not only includes the base game but also the Expansion Pass and some other extra goodies. It’ll cost $79.99 USD and launches on October 22nd. Here’s what’s in it:
