Here’s 30 Minutes Of Gorgeous Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake Footage On PS5

Give it to me now.

After finally revealing the release date of November 14th during Nintendo’s big Direct showcase last month, Square Enix has been showing a lot more of its HD-2D remake of Dragon Quest III, and it continues to look incredible.

Following some early previews from Summer Game Fest, Square Enix has seemingly taken its show on the road with more previews coming out today, and a heap of new footage emerging. One source of a hefty new look at the game is Famitsu, which published near-on 30 minutes of gameplay footage to its FamitsuTUBE channel, all running on PlayStation 5.

In the video, which you can watch below, we see an early portion of the game with the party exploring the town of Aliahan, entering buildings and homes, chatting with NPCs and more. It’s all in Japanese, but you can get a really clear idea of just how big this glow-up is with environments immeasurably bigger than the classic version of the game and the HD-2D visuals sporting some incredibly lush detail and effects.
