Amazon Prime Day Kicks Off Tomorrow So Here’s Everything You Need To Know

Get yourself prepared for bargains!

Amazon Prime Day has been dated for 2024, and it’s going to be the longest Prime Day sale event for Aussie shoppers so far. We now know that the event will be taking place starting first thing tomorrow, July 16th and running all the way until the end of July 21st. We’d remind you to be up at midnight tonight if you’re looking to capitalise, as normally the best deals go live straight away and sell out fairly quickly.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING

Amazon Prime Day has quickly become one of the best sale events of the year, but obviously you need to be a Prime member. If you haven’t been a Prime member before, you can get a 30 day trial right now which would take you through to the end of the Prime Day 2024 event.

WHEN IS AMAZON PRIME DAY TAKING PLACE FOR 2024?

Amazon Prime Day is taking place starting on July 16th at 00:01AM AEST with deals running all the way to the end July 21st, for a total of six days of deals.

Some early deals will also be kicking off including discounts on Prime Video channels and movies from July 9th until the end of the Prime Day event, as well as introductory offers for new Kindle Unlimited and Audible members already available.

HOW TO STAY UP WITH THE LATEST DEALS

You’ll soon be able to find our Prime Day Hub where we’ll update with the best and latest deals all through the event, you can follow us on Twitter HERE You can also visit Amazon’s Prime Day hub HERE that does a great job of telling you what you’ll get with your Prime Day sub as well as what to expect.

WHAT WILL BE ON SALE DURING PRIME DAY 2024?

Amazon Australia is promising “hundreds of thousands of products” discounted across the six days. Categories on sale will include electronics, home and kitchen wares, Amazon devices, everyday essentials, beauty, video games, books, toys, clothes and shoes and more.

New deals will drop throughout the event (and we’ll be keeping you up to date on those, so make sure you’re following us!) with savings expected on a heap of gaming and tech. Already-confirmed brands include Apple, Bose, LEGO, Meta, Panasonic, Philips, Samsung and Sony.

FREE GAMES WITH PRIME FOR PRIME DAY

Amazon has also revealed a slate of free games being given away to Prime subscribers in the lead-up to the event.

It’s a pretty decent list of freebies, most of which are handed out via codes for relevant platforms meaning you don’t need to have an active Prime subscription membership to continue playing them should yours expire. The line-up includes games like Deceive Inc, the excellent Card Shark, a couple of Call of Juarez titles and the ridiculously fun Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge – all in all there’s bound to be at least one worthy title in the mix for anyone.
