Our first look at the highly anticipated Mortal Kombat 2 has arrived, giving us a look at some of the new characters including Kitana (played by Adeline Rudolph), Shao Kahn (Martyn Ford) and Johnny Cage (Karl Urban).
Whilst we’ve only got a few images to look at so far, each of the three characters look like great representations of their video game characters.
We also get another look at Scorpion (played by Sanada) who will be back once again to be a menace to the rest of the cast.
Speaking about the movie to Entertainment Weekly, Ed Boon said: “There’s a visual representation of who is winning…. It’s not just a tournament for the sake of a tournament. There are huge consequences, so you really are keeping score. And there are a lot of twists in it that keep you on your toes.”
Mortal Kombat 2 is releasing on October 24th. It was once again shot in Australia which is definitely a cool touch for such an iconic franchise.
