Jagex has announced Runescape: Dragonwilds, a standalone co-operative survival game set in the Runescape universe, after running an initial Alpha test in September of last year. The game will launch into early access on PC soon with the release window of Spring 2025 (Autumn here in Australia) with the game’s page already live on Steam.
Here’s the description from the game’s Steam page:
On RuneScape’s forgotten continent of Ashenfall, dragons have awoken. Gather, build, skill and craft to survive in this co-operative (1-4) survival crafting game. Only by mastering survival and uncovering ancient secrets can they hope to slay the Dragon Queen—alone or with allies.
Much like we’ve expected from the survival genre, the game will focus on co-operation to collect resources and craft supplies to survive the threats awaiting you in continent of Ashenfall.
The game is developed on Unreal Engine 5 and in the trailers released alongside the announcement, looks pretty schmick!
