After months and months of speculation as to where Rockstar would land when it came to pricing their mega blockbuster November release, Grand Theft Auto 6, we’ve at last got somewhat of an answer.
Although we’re still awaiting word on local pricing, Grand Theft Auto 6 has been confirmed at a USD 80.00 price point, ten dollars above what has become the norm in recent years.
Although this converts to approximately AUD 120, we expect it might even land somewhere higher than that.
The game’s Ultimate Edition, which includes a ton of extra content that’ll be peppered throughout the game’s story mode, is set to retail for USD 100.
It’s not surprising, given how much the game is rumoured to have cost to develop. But even at one of the highest prices we’ve seen in gaming retail, it’s not likely to deter gamers who’ve been waiting for a new Grand Theft Auto for over a decade.
