Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Has A Release Date On Nintendo Switch
Bandai Namco has confirmed that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will finally come to Nintendo Switch on September 22nd.
We’ll be able to perform moves such as the Kamehameha and Spirit bomb with Joy-Con motion controls. We’re not really sure how that will work in-game, but it’s sure to be a little bit of a fun for a short while. Nintendo Switch players will also be able to go play a six-player local play mode, which is exclusive to the Switch.
The key features for Nintendo Switch are below:
- Switch specific controls and functionality, for example perform the Kamehameha and Spirit Bomb with the Joy-Con motion controls.
- Six player local play mode (additional Nintendo Switch units required).
- Use individual Joy-Con controllers to play the game with a friend locally.
- Relive the Dragon Ball story by time traveling and protecting historic moments in the Dragon Ball universe.
- More in-depth avatar creation system and battle adjustments compared to Dragon Ball Xenoverse.

So three Switch exclusive features and the other two key features can be found on the other versions, I mean sure if you own a switch and none of the other consoles (Xbox One/PS4) and you want a Dragon Ball game sure, but if you already have a Xbox One/PS4 and you already have Xenoverse 2 on them save your money, it's just a gimmick that at some point will die off just like that horrible Dragon Ball Z for Kinect game.
