Nintendo Switch 5.0 Firmware Confirmed As Fake By Creator

Well, this is annoying. The creator of that awesome Nintendo Switch 5.0 firmware that we posted about last week has been confirmed as fake by the creator.

The update showed off some minimal but important updates to the current firmware including folder support, icon shuffling, Twitch/YouTube applications, cloud saves, themes and a lot more.

Whilst it’s likely that we’ll see quite a few of these things in the next major Switch update, we can now put it to rest that this is definitely not the 5.0 update.
