Yesterday, we published a report from IGN France that said that Nintendo would be providing Nintendo Labo designs for free online. IGN France has since published a retraction confirming that this was a mistake on their end and that these designs won’t be offered online.
Nintendo Australia has also confirmed to us that these designs won’t be offered online for free. They’ve provided a pretty reasonable solution to those who might damage their Labo cardboard bits a long the way.
“We recommend holding onto the cardboard sheets, even after the pieces have been removed from them. Later, the removed pieces can be used as stencils to trace and cut out spare parts from the empty bits of these old sheets.” said a Nintendo Australia representative.
Nintendo Labo is out on April 20th.
