Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Is Getting Its First Entirely New Level

Activision today have announced that the developers at Vicarious Visions have created a brand new level for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. This marks the first time since the original games were released that somebody has created new content for the original three Crash Bandicoot games.

The level is called Future Tense and will be released on June 29th, as a bonus for Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped. The level is said to be super hard, with rockets to dodge, robots to destroy and several lasers to evade while scaling a massive futuristic skyscraper. The level is allegedly based on the design of an unreleased level from the original game called Waterfall.

Future Tense will be added to Crash Bandicoot 3: Warper through a new platform in the warp room, and will be playable at any point in the game regardless of your progression. It also features multiple routes encouraging repeat play throughs, including the challenging (and aptly named) Death Route.

Additionally, Stormy Ascent, the level that released last year, will be made available for free from June 29th as well. The level was previously free for a limited time before being made a paid piece of DLC. Activision will be publishing the level baked in on all future prints of the N. Sane Trilogy going forward.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is out now for PlayStation 4. It will see a release on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC on June 29th. Future Tense will be available for all platforms from June 29th.
