After teasing the Trilogy and subsequent leaks, 2K has officially revealed Mafia Trilogy.
Mafia II: Definitive Edition and Mafia III: Definitive Edition are launching today. Both games are $49.95 each digitally with Mafia II being a remaster of the game with all DLC included. Mafia III: Definitive Edition is the same game that released on PS4/Xbox One with all of the DLC included.
Here’s where things get exciting (and also a little bit tricky). Mafia Definitive Edition is a complete remake of the original game with a new game engine, expanded story, new and refined gameplay features as well as a re-recorded score. This one won’t release until August 28th. Mafia: Definitive Edition is priced at $69.95 meaning you should definitely just buy the trilogy for $99.95 to get so three games.
Right now, you can buy Mafia II and Mafia III and you’ll then be able to buy Mafia discounted when it releases in August. You can also pre-order the Trilogy digitally right now for $99.95 and it’ll give you access to II and III and then the original game when it releases in August. Alternatively, a physical release of the Trilogy will also hit on August 28th. All three games will release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
