Pikmin 3 Deluxe Is Coming To Nintendo Switch So Get Plucking

Nintendo quietly announced overnight that Pikmin 3, one of the better Wii U Games, will be heading to the Nintendo Switch later this year.

Called Pikmin 3 Deluxe, the package includes new difficulty modes as well as new prologue and epilogue missions involving both Olimar and Louie (sorry, Brittany).

You will also be able to play through the main story in two-player co-op on the same console, as well as unlock a kind of bestiary of sorts with the new Piklopedia.

A whole bunch of quality of life improvements has also been included to make the experience a little bit more playable – better lock-on systems, enemy balancing, and optional tutorial hints will help those who might find the game intimidating or anxiety-inducing a little bit more approachable.

All previously released downloadable levels are included too.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe releases exclusively for Nintendo Switch on October 30th 2020.

Obviously Pikmin 4 is still coming too, though we’ve not really heard anything about it since Miyamoto said it was “still progressing” in 2017. Whew.
