Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit is set to launch in just a few weeks, and Nintendo has finally lifted the lid off the game, revealing a bunch of information.
We know that depending on which kit you get, you’ll be playing as either Mario or Luigi, but it’s actually insane to see how much the game actually effects your kart in real life. For instance, if you pickup a mushroom in-game, your physical kart will get a speed boost.
In terms of the courses, there’s four gates that you can set up in any order (with a space of 10 x 12 feet), but the effects that you get on screen will still represent courses from classic Mario Kart games. The main mode is Grand Prix which features eight different cups and 24 courses including: This includes Cheep Cheep Reef, Ember Island, Boo Fortress, Chain Chomp Gate, Magikoopa Mirage, World 1-1, Rainbow Road and others.
In terms of items, there’s items such as the red shell, banana, lightning, Blooper, spiny shell and Bullet bull. Classes are in and there’s 50cc, 100cc, 150cc and 200cc. You’ll also collect coins in races in order to unlock outfits and carts.
