Pokemon VIolet Scarlet

Pokemon Scarlet & Pokemon Violet’s Release Date Has Been Revealed Alongside A New Trailer And Full Online Multiplayer

Release date!

Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have just dropped the latest trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. The biggest take away is that we got a release date. The game will release on November 18th for Nintendo Switch. You’ll be able to buy both versions separately or a double pack.

There’s a lot to take in and we’re still digesting it ourselves, but we get a look at the open world, the different terrains, trainer battles taking place within the open world and a look at legendary Pokemon called Koraidon and Miraidon which look to be some kind of lizard/dragon hybrid. We also got a look at new Pokemon including Pawmi, Leochonk and Smoliv.

The game will allow online multiplayer for up to four players at once. You’ll be able to explore the world which is a cool new addition with other players online and obviously trade and battle with online players as well.

Pokemon Multiplayer

Another new addition is the fact that you will get a different Professor depending on which version that you get. Scarlet will bring Professor Sada whilst Violet will bring Professor Turo. Each Professor will pass on different lore from within the area. There’s also a brand new friend in Nemona who will act as your guide along the way.

As of right now, you can’t pre-order the game, but we’ll let you know as soon as both versions as well as the double pack are up for pre-order in the morning.
