After taking out the honour for Inclusivity in this year’s Apple Design Awards back in June, the Melbourne-made cosy sim, Wylde Flowers, has won big once again.
Among other winners in the App Store Awards’ Games category including Apex Legends Mobile as iPhone Game of the Year and the excellent Inscryption with Mac Game of the Year, the witchy life sim was crowned the Apple Arcade Game of the Year for 2022, a huge achievement for the title and a well-deserved recognition of the hard work put in by Studio Drydock to make a fun, friendly and incredibly welcoming supernatural slice-of-life game.
It’s time to celebrate @StudioDrydock and Wylde Flowers for winning the #AppStoreAwards 2022 Apple Arcade Game of the Year and making life more magical.

Wylde Flowers casts players as Tara as they split their time between helping Tara’s grandma manage the family farm on a rural island by day, and nurturing their innate witchy powers by night. It was developed by Studio Drydock in Melbourne with collaborators around the world, and is available on Apple Arcade, Steam and Nintendo Switch.
