The Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Has A Release Date

Snaaaaaaake!

A surprising reveal during today’s Nintendo Direct came via the upcoming Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol 1., not because the collection is coming to Switch but because we finally got a release date!

The collection, which features the first three Metal Gear Solid games, as well as the original two Metal Gear games and a bunch of other neat extras, is coming on October 24, 2023. Presumably, this will be the same date for the other platforms including PlayStation, Xbox and PC.

It was also revealed that each of the games will be available for purchase separately via digital storefronts, and the full contents are as follows:

  • Metal Gear
  • Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake
  • Metal Gear Solid (Including VR Missions/Special Missions)
  • Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (HD Collection version)
  • Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (HD Collection version)

  • Snake’s Revenge
