Nintendo held a stacked, 40-minute new Nintendo Direct presentation overnight that gave us new looks at a heap of games coming towards the end of this year and early next year, as well as some brand-new announcements and surprises.

One of the big updates featured was a new trailer and release window for the Switch version of Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon (originally known here simply as Luigi’s Mansion 2), which originally released in 2013 for the Nintendo 3DS.

Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD is coming to the Nintendo Switch sometime in Winter next year.

The new trailer, which you can watch below, showcases how this game will look and play on Switch, and while it’s definitely still carrying its 3DS roots more than the built-for-Switch Luigi’s Mansion 3 it’s looking like a great excuse to play this game again or for the first time – and it has 4-player online multiplayer.
