Nintendo has revealed that its bringing its convention-like celebration of all things Nintendo to Sydney this year, after previous stints in Japan and the US.
While details on what’ll be there are still scant, Nintendo Live Sydney 2024 will be happening on the weekend of August 31st to September 1st, and will feature live stage events, photo opportunities and of course hands-on with Nintendo Switch games.
Last year’s event took place in Seattle, with Nintendo of America’s Doug Bowser saying at the time, “Fans of all ages can currently experience the unique games, characters and worlds of Nintendo on Nintendo Switch, but we want to expand that scope with a new experience. With Nintendo Live, we’re giving attendees a chance to celebrate together with family, friends and the broader Nintendo community in the spirit of fun and creating long-lasting memories.”
Nintendo has set up a dedicated page for the event, which you can find here, though as of right now it’s almost entirely blank. There’s no word yet on where the event venue will actually be, or how tickets will be sold/distributed, but hopefully it’s not too long before we learn more.
