Nintendo has revealed the upgrades costs for Nintendo Switch 2 enhanced games such as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This was revealed by Bill Trinen in and interview with IGN.
Both of these updates will cost $10 USD (~$17 AUD) if you already own the main game, and they’ll be available for free if you are a Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack member. Both of these updates will add improved resolutions and frame rates.
Similarly, Welcome Tour which is a game that will teach you all about your Nintendo Switch 2 will also be priced at $10 USD (~$17 AUD).
For games that add new content such as Mario Party Jamboree + TV and Kirby and the Forgotten Land + Star-Crossed World, these will seemingly be priced at $20 USD (~$$ AUD) for upgrades given that they both add significant new content.
All of these games will also be able to purchase as Nintendo Switch 2 versions and they’re all currently priced at $110 AUD RRP here in Australia.
