AFL 26 is just one week away from releasing on May 8th for PS5/PS4, Xbox Series X and Xbox One but we can also confirm that the game is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 at a later date.
Ahead of the launch, we’ve got a bunch of new screenshots including Ebony Marinoff kicking a goal, Jamie Elliot’s iconic mark and Mac Andrew’s celebration after beating the Bombers last year.
AFL 26 will introduce new bump and marking systems, a rookie career mode and pro team all being available on day one. There’s a number of other gameplay improvements including a single player career mode, improved marking and goal kicking mechanisms, interchange management, hall of fame, general; gameplay improvements and more.
More than 1,200 AFL and AFLW players will be available, with a management career mode allowing fans to take full control of their team from recruiting, drafting and player development, as well as the ability to employ gameplans designed with the help of AFL coaches.
AFL26 will feature commentary from Anthony Hudson, Gary Lyon, Daniel Harford, Kelli Underwood and Jason Bennett to accompany all the action.
