An Indie World Nintendo Direct Is Happening This Week And Here’s All The Aussie Times

Just a week after it held a Partner Direct, Nintendo has today announced that an Indie World Nintendo Direct will take place last this week.

This will showcase 15 minutes of new announcements and updates on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. Historically, bigger indie titles haven’t been at these showcases, but with several indie games that we’re waiting on information for including the likes of Hades 2 and Hollow Knight: Silksong, it’ll be interesting to see if there’s bigger names at this event.

AUGUST 2025 INDIE WORLD NINTENDO DIRECT AUSTRALIAN TIMES

The Indie World Nintendo Direct will be taking place on Thursday night at the below times:

• 11:00pm AEST (Melbourne/Sydney/Hobart/Canberra/Brisbane)
• 10:30pm ACST (Adelaide, Darwin)
• 09:00pm AWST (Perth)
• 01:00am Wednesday NZST (Wellington)
